Ensign George PEYTON Military Warrant #3437

Ensign George PEYTON was a descendant of the PEYTON family of East Virginia. Both he and his brother Robert gave their lives whilst serving as soldiers during the American Revolution. They both appear with their parents and siblings on pages 93, 94 of the Second Edition of PEYTONs Along the Aquia Genealogy, where the family's lineage is documented back to the PEYTON Family of Bury Saint Edmonds, England.
